Dear Francisca Adjei,
In your unflagging pursuit to catch the eye of Mahama so that he would, as he used to do, once again shower you with some coins for your upkeep since life hasn't been a bed of roses for you since the NDC was defeated in the last elections, you flamboyantly but ignorantly dotted on security and the fact that you opine it was a very great sight to behold when Mahama left office.
You declaimed, rather wryly, that under the watch of His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ghana is insecure, and went ahead to cite issues to do with the Delta and Invisible Forces and how some party footsoldiers have gone on rampage, ransacking offices and driving away officers manning these places.
You also alleged, in your useless assertions, that the Akufo-Addo administration is riddled with corruption on the flimsy reason that someone shouted that to see President Akufo-Addo, one ought to grease the palm of some people with a staggering $20,000 before a passage can be granted.
Honing in on the latter, are we to walk into town, majestically, proclaiming what former Attorney General Mr. Martin Amidu said that Mills of blessed memory was necessitated by the corruptibility of Mahama to have his vice investigated? Do you remember the Ford Expedition scandal? What about Woyome, Isofoton, GYEEDA, SUBA, the Brazil World Cup scandal? You leave these naked corrupt acts and talk about issues which are nothing more than a figment of your own perverted imagination?
But for the fact that I am in a place where hygiene is held in high esteem, I would have puked over the energy you wasted foculizing insecurity as a phenomenon synonymous with the Akufo-Addo administration. Instead of appreciating the fact that crime has no political colourization, you rather chose to blame Akufo-Addo.
Perhaps Akufo-Addo was in power when the Nkwanta South DCE was killed in cold-blood! NDC goons were on rampage in the Tano South Constituency before the elections, and we are to believe that Akufo-Addo was president! As for rampaging NDC goons and the terrorist activities they subjected Ghanaians to, time and space cannot contain, so I wouldn't touch on them. Bottomline, the NDC cannot advise the NPP on security issues when they have a checkered history in that arena.
It is instructive to note that the long arm of the law has not gone to sleep under Akufo-Addo over these reported acts of violence in certain parts of the country. Can you say same about Mahama?
It is very stereotypical of members of the NDC to cast aspersions just to score some political points. If these wild allegations and nonsensical effusions you have vomited are geared towards that direction, then you are no better than your two year old daughter, intellectually!
